USI Manager Overview

Within your system, there is a convenient tool that allows you to make updates to multiple student USIs at once. In this article, we will go over how to use the USI Manager.

 Note

The USI Manager is only available if you have USI services configured on your system. If you are unable to see the USI Manager feature in your system and wish to use it, please contact ReadyTech Support.

The USI Manager provides you with a quick and easy way to update USIs for multiple students at once. It can automatically look for students with unverified USIs in your system and list them for you to process quickly and efficiently.

The USI Manager can be accessed via Enrolments → USI Manager.

On this page, you will see three tiles with each displaying a different value:

Parties with a verified USI (party profiles with a USI that has been verified)

Parties with a unverified USI (students with a USI entered but it isn’t verified)

Parties with USI remediation required (students who do not have any USI information entered)

Underneath the tiles, there will be three buttons:

  • Auto Clean: This will start a batch job that will attempt to verify USIs for students. It will only try this on students who have a USI entered but not verified.
  • Unverified USI: This will bring up a list of students with a USI that isn’t verified on their profile.
  • Manual Fix: This will bring up all students without a USI or with a unverified USI.

Verifying Student USIs

Click on either the Unverified USI or Manual Fix button to bring up a list of students.

You will be provided with a list of students, the students listed will differ depending on which button you clicked on. Each student in the list will have a Cog icon next to their record, along with any USI related errors.

Upon clicking on the Cog icon, you will be presented with three options:

  • Verify: This will attempt to verify the USI for the specified student using the details that are currently entered.
  • Create: This will bring up a modal where you can enter the details required for a USI and create one on the student's behalf.
  • Edit: This will bring up a modal where you can edit the student's USI specific details before attempting verification.
