Improved
Western Australian Claims Reporting
Western Australian Claims Reporting has been updated to version 1.3, which now includes the addition of the Unique Student Identifier to the Student file.
On the Claims Reporting screen, the TAMS Version field displays options for versions 1.2 and 1.3, with version 1.3 selected by default.
As part of this change, all references to the former RAPT (Resource Allocation Program for Training) reporting in Ready Student have been updated to TAMS (Training Allocation Management System). This includes changes in report labels, descriptions, and batch log messages.
Preliminary HELP Loan User Interface Changes
In preparation for broader HELP Loan changes, some preliminary improvements have been made to Ready Student user interface:
- Courses – new Loans and AVETMISS Reporting sections
On the Course screen:
- The VET Student Loans and FEE-HELP checkboxes have been moved to a new Loans section. This section will only display if either the VET Student Loans or FEE-HELP feature flag is enabled.
- The VET FEE-HELP checkbox is no longer available to select for new courses. If already selected, it will also appear in the Loans section.
- The Claims & Funding section has been renamed to AVETMISS Reporting.
- Programs – New Legacy FEE-HELP Reporting Section
On the Program > Compliance tab, legacy FEE-HELP fields that are no longer required for TCSI reporting have been moved to a new Legacy FEE-HELP Reporting section.
This section is only displayed when the FEE-HELP feature is enabled, FEE-HELP is enabled on the Course and at least one field is not blank.
- Courses – New Legacy FEE-HELP Reporting Section
Parallel changes have been made to Course records. Legacy FEE-HELP fields that are no longer required for TCSI reporting have been moved to a new Legacy FEE-HELP Reporting section.
This section is only displayed when the FEE-HELP feature is enabled, FEE-HELP is enabled on the Course and at least one field is not blank.
The existing Fee Help section has relabelled to HELP Loans.
- Location Page – Relabelling of FEE-HELP checkbox
On the Administration > Lookups > Locations/Facilities page, the existing Fee-Help (TCSI) checkbox has been relabelled to Higher Ed (TCSI).
- Course > Student List – Removal of Fee-Help Column
The Fee-Help column has been removed the Course > Student List screen. This field previously displayed an indicator for eligibility to the former VET FEE-HELP program.
Report Builder Performance Improvements
Performance Improvements have been delivered to the Report Builder. As part of this change, updates have been made to the format of the output file name. File names are now in the format of: current timestamp + a random 8-character alphanumeric string.
Fixed
35039 - An issue where an incorrect refund amount was recorded in cases when the Xetta refund exceeded the credit note amount has been resolved.
34877 - Resolved an issue where the Courses API returned an unclear internal server error when adding courses with names exceeding 100 characters. The error will now state ‘Course Name cannot be longer than 100 characters’.
34736 - Resolved an issue where the Claim Payment Import for NSW Smart & Skilled was incorrectly applied to the old enrolment due to the same Commitment ID being used for both the original and replacement courses. The system now accurately applies payment imports to the most recent enrolment with the same Commitment ID.
33712 - The issue causing the integration settings page for RDY LMS to become unresponsive after being left idle or when too many characters are entered in the student search dropdown has been resolved. Additionally, the placeholder text has been updated to "Search Ready LMS User by ID, ID Number, Email, or Name..." to improve clarity.
27732 – The Student Import function has been improved to ensure AVETMISS data values are not overwritten if no data is provided in the import file. This update prevents the unintended change of existing data when blank columns are included in the file.
34047 – Improvements have been made to the Moodle Integration logs to address performance issues and 500 Gateway Timeout errors.
35202 – A fix has been applied to NSW ACE reporting to resolve an issue when unit dates were starting before and ending after the activity period, the data was not included in the ACE report.
34468 – Resolved an issue where a Course form was producing a submitted application and enrolling the applicant without completing the payment step prior to submitting the form.
This will no longer result with enrolling the applicant into the Course without payment and create an application with a Partial status to allow the applicant to return the payment step in their application.
34697 - Staff added to an event as supporting staff may now see and mark attendance for students in the event via the Plus simplified trainer view if they have adequate permissions.
34834 – Validation for applying a blueprint to an enrolment was considering units which had been disabled on the course. Disabled units will no longer be considered when validating if a blueprint may be applied.
35463 – previously, it was possible to receive an error when saving an event with no date. We have added validation on the event page to prevent this.
31934 – we have resolved an issue that could cause an error when deleting a scheduled report.
