Session Outcomes/Action Items 

Following the session, we recommend you complete the following action items. This will assist in enabling you to set up your Student Management System correctly, as well as prepare you for the next and future training sessions.

  • Generate your National AVETMISS files and upload them to AVS for validation

  • Familiarise yourself with Batch Log

  • Familiarise yourself with the standard list of reports

  • How do I know when I need to report?
    Reporting frequency depends on your funding agreements. Talk to your Compliance Manager to determine the requirements for your oraganisation. 
  • What do I need to include when requesting support for AVETMISS reporting?
    Please include:
    • A copy of the export details report from AVS
    • A copy of the AVETMISS files you submitted by providing a link to the Batch Log that has been generated
    • URLs o records you would like us to look into
    • What you selected when running the AVETMISS report within the SMS
